Is Free Vegetable Garden Planner really free?

Yes. Planning, saving, printing, PDF export and the 3D view are free, with no ads.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones, and you can add it to your phone's home screen.

How does it know how many plants fit?

Each crop has a recommended spacing. Square-foot beds use Square Foot Gardening counts, for example 16 carrots or 1 tomato per 30 cm square. Row beds use the in-row and between-row spacing.

Can I plan crop rotation?

Yes. Keep a plan for each year and copy it to the next season. Every bed is compared with last year's crops and you get a suggestion for the next family.

Where are my gardens stored?

Without an account they stay in your browser. With a free account they are saved on this site and only you can see them.
